‘Joe Duckworth to debate hunting with the Countryside Alliance on 16th January’

Today (14th January), the League Against Cruel Sports (LACS) posted a news item on their web-site titled ‘Joe Duckworth to debate hunting with the Countryside Alliance on 16th January’.

‘… On Wednesday 16th January, Joe Duckworth, Chief Executive of the League Against Cruel Sports will debate the issue of hunting with Jim Barrington, Animal Welfare Consultant from the Countryside Alliance in Hendon.

The debate, which will consider both the legal and ethical arguments, will be chaired by Middlesex University principal lecturer in law, Dr Susan Pascoe, an expert on the legal aspects of the Hunting Act 2004.

The event will take place in Hendon Town Hall council chamber (The Burroughs, NW4 4AX) on Wednesday 16 January from 4pm-5.30pm. It is open to the public and free to attend – so please make sure to come along!
