two anti-fur demo.s in Derby and Leicester: today, 2nd February

Today (2nd February), two Cruise Fur Demo.s will be taking place, with one in Derby and one in Leicester. The demo.s are part of the on-going Cruise Fur Action campaign against the seven Cruise  fashion shops in the UK which sell fur items. 2nd-9th February is a week of action. The two demo.s today are listed on the Veggies AR calendar:

Cruise Fashion has 7 fashion shops across the UK (reduced from some 20 in 2009). Its fashion range includes items made of real fur, even though the production of fur is now illegal in the UK, and the vast majority of the public is totally opposed to this barbaric trade. All the fur sold in Cruise must therefore be imported from countries which still allow the horrendous cruelty of fur factory farms and the vicious leghold or gin trap …’
